Indiana Landmarks, a local non-profit organization whose mission is to save our historic buildings from demolition, is partnering with local plant businesses, Botany & Co and Spaulding Restoration, to create a native landscape around the new site. The Poledor house is a 1913 craftsman style house with original features throughout. Botany & Co and Spaulding Restoration are planting the site surrounding the house in a matrix style native landscape, and we are looking for interested volunteers to join us in getting plants in the ground! We will be on site to explain why we use native plants in installations, general design concepts and the site conditions considered when choosing the plants.
